mini GSM shield (SIM900) not connected

Hello All,

I have bought a GSM shield (see attached). But i haven't found any documentation about it :confused: But anyways i did a first simple test which should work in my opinion.

My Test:

  • put in a sim karte without pinlock
  • pluged into the shield 5V current at +5V and GND
  • pluged in antenna

--> power LED is on. But the Sync is blinking very fast

I have called the module --> didn't work

I have tried different sim cards and current sources already. So i think this should not be the issue.

I'm happy for any solution suggestions!

Net light status:

State SIM900 Function
Off SIM900 is not running
64ms On/ 800ms Off SIM900 does not find network
64ms On/ 3000ms Off SIM900 find the network
64ms On/ 300ms Off GPRS communication

found the issue. need to bridge pin 1 and 2 of sim900 to power on.

As they resolved the connection between Mini and arduino SIM900? someone with a proven Arduino Nano?

could support me with the code?
