The IDE works well on my desktop but when updated on my laptop the radio buttons are missing. Any advice will be much appreciated
Hi @hengis. I'm not sure I understood correctly what you mean by "radio buttons". Please add a forum reply here that provides a more detailed description to help us to understand it.
The best thing would be for you to take a screenshot of the IDE window on your laptop and then add that as an attachment in the reply.
Thanks. That makes the situation clear.
The color scheme of the IDE is very unusual. Did you install a 3rd party Arduino IDE theme?
There is more blue in the pic than in reality
Are you visually impaired?
What happens when you click where the buttons should be?
I did some experimentation but was not able to reproduce the problem unfortunately. I do have something you can try that might fix it:
- Press the Ctrl+Shift+P keyboard shortcut to open the "Command Palette".
A menu will appear on the editor toolbar:

- Select the "View: Reset Workbench Layout" command from the menu.
Hopefully the "radio buttons" will appear after you do that, if not, let us know and we'll suggest something else you can try.
