Hello guys, good day! I bought a MJDuino board and i have a problem. For more a week I can't upload anything for the board. The board never played the Blink. I installed all the drivers CH304 and i continue with the error to upload the code. The board appear good, but the connection with the PC not. I need help :( My Arduino dont work.

Adicional Informations: I use Windows 7 ultimate x64 My board is M.J Duino Uno R3.

And my IDE recognize the arduino with COM3, but not upload the code.

Help-me, Please!

Thanks

Obrigado!

To determine if there is a problem with the board or the connection to the computer please run a loopback test. The instructions for this can be found at the top of this sub-forum.

Post the results here and I will try my best to help you.

Hello friend. I follow the steps, but i cant find any positive result. What I typed, not echoed back.

Okay, failing the loop-back test indicates that you have a problem in the communication between the computer and the board.

Can you have a look inside the Device Manager and see if the board is being properly registered by the computer. If all is well, it should be under the "Ports Com and LPT" heading.

The board are recognize in COM and LPT Ports. The device’s name is USB-Serial CH340 (COM4). How about the IDE configuration? This change anything in the comunication?

The IDE has no settings that could affect the communication. Do you have access to another Arduino?

The device seems to be missing its bootloader. You can restore the bootloader either by using a dedicated ISP programmer or by using an Arduino as one, with the help of a sketch.

I dont have another Arduino. :( Can you help-me to restore bootloader? Im a beginner.

Thanks

Sorry about the delay. I can give you the instructions but It would be pointless at the moment as you will need additional hardware to go through with the restore. You will either need to get a ISP-Programmer such as the popular USBISP or get another Arduino.

Ohh. I dont have money enough. My first Arduino dont work... Its sad.

But thank you very much for the help.

You can normally get inexpensive programmers from ebay that should work okay. I have seen them go for as low as $2USD.

Serious? I did not know. eBay send to Brazil? U found a Arduino for $2USD?

What the Best choice?

I would go with the second link as my first choice. It doesn't hide the fact that it is a clone and the seller has good ratings.

My other option would be the fourth link, solely because it claims to have the original usb-serial chip (atmega16u2).

It is worth mentioning that buying a non-genuine arduino you run the risk of getting a board that is in the same state as the one you currently have. If you can afford it, I would recommend purchasing a usbisp programmer at the same time.

The USB Isp is more than USD 10,00. I go to buy the seccond and fourth. Ok?

Price, and this product? http://www.ebay.com/itm/SainSmart-UNO-R3-Board-ATmega328P-ATmega16U2-Free-USB-Cable-For-Arduino-/300948763268?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4611f1b284

The SainSmart Have a good board and parts? Is compatible with Arduino?
