MKR 1400 Max VIN voltage?

Hi Everyone,

I'm a little confused about what voltage I can apply to the VIN pin of the MKR1400, it is mentioned it can take 5-12v in these two references

But then on the product page, it says MAX 5V. and different again on the data sheet here it says 5v to 6v

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with powering with up to 12v? I took a look at the schematic and the power management system BQ24195L says it can take up to 17V.

Any comments will be much appreciated.

Hi! You should always refer to the product page that aways have the most updated information. So VIN is 5V maximum voltage as for all the MKR Boards. Thank you!

Thank you for contacting us.
The Arduino MKR GSM 1400 can be powered through Vin with 5-12V. However, it should not be connected to the computer at the same time when using more than 5V as it would bring that voltage to the computer and it would lead to its damage.
