MKR Connection Carrier pin out

Hi All,

I'm using a MKR Connection Carrier with a MKR1010 WiFi. As I read this page https://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/MKRConnectorCarrier, the pins of the D0 Grove connector should be arranged as [D0 D1 VCC GND]. However, from the schematic, and probing around with a multimeter, the secondary I/O pin is a dummy, and not connected to anything on the board.

Can anyone confirm this?

Yeah, you're right. The D5/D6 connector is actually wired in this manner. It's possible that the "Getting Started" tutorial was trying to convey this, but it's certainly not as clear as it might be.

The situation is the same with the An connectors.

:frowning: At least it's documented here.... I think the Grove Base shields are/were wired this way.

It's a bit unfortunate, since the MKR Mem Shield already uses D5 for the flash memory.
