MKR GSM 1400 in Canada

Hi guys,

I purchased an MKR GSM 1400 module off the Arduino website, and I am not able to connect to the GSM network through my Fido sim card. It should be able to connect since Fido is on the Rogers network, which runs on the GSM network. I was wondering maybe I'm not waiting long enough for it to connect or if it is not compatible.

In short I have 2 questions.

  1. Is Fido compatible with the MKR GSM 1400?
  2. How long should I wait for the connection to initialize before I can say that it is not compatible?
