For the remote control of a churchbell over the mobile network, I would like to use one oft he Arduino MKR GSM 1400 or MKR NB 1500 module. The Bell will switched on to average 2 times per month, but not in a fixed time periode.
My question is, what of the modules is in reference to the costs for a SIM card a favourable way.
WLAN unfortunately drops out, because of the bell should not only controlled by smartphones, but also by ordinary mobiles using SMS-message.
Can someone give a recommendation?
