HI,
I bought 6 MKR WAN 1300 in order to animate an workshop in two weeks on this board.
But When I'm trying to upload the blink sktech, I've got an error like the device is not found on the proper port, just when the upload of the program is over.
And I need to reset it, in order to make the port re-appear but it still dont work.
Does one of you already have this trouble ? and did you success to upload a sketch in this board ?
Best regards,
Reynholds.
Make sure you have the correct port selected from the Tools > Port menu.
In Type of card I've got "Arduino MKR Wan 1300"
And in Port I've got "COM 12 (Arduino MKR Wan 1300)"
Did you see something wrong ?
I'd say you definitely have the correct port selected.
In attached file, this is what happened.
Did you see something I'm doing wrong ?
Best regards,
Reynholds.
The problem was I did not remove the Arduino from the protective black foarm ... :o
WOW that gif is horrendous.
Please use something else.
Copy and paste error messages or use regular screenshots in future please.
Yes, I've heard that problem before. I guess the antistatic foam is conductive and so definitely not good to have touching pins while running. You might put the board into a solderless breadboard to protect the pins and also make prototyping easy.
Glad you solved the problem. Enjoy!
Thanks, I had the same problem and I couldn't have guessed it was about the conductive black foam.
