MKR wifi 1010 unreachable on COM

Hi,

my device worked for several months and several sketches and it seems now after uploading adafruit for my display, the device and display works, but my arduino became unreachable as a comport.

i tried different USB ports, different computers with create agent and also with EDI.
even pressing the button twice doesnt make the board connecting to my computers.

i updated to latest arduino versions, i also tried with different cables.

Sometimes (1 on 20), when powering on it becomes available as comport 3 for 1 second and then disconnects when the sketch starts running.

i searched the forums for solution and tried several scenario's like repowering with button, Also tried external powering and afterwards connecting to the USB,

but also no solution.

Anyone had the same problem or know how i can reset the device or make it available as comport ?

Any tips are welcome.

use double reset to activate the bootloader and upload a working sketch

indeed i tried that, so the led on the board is pulsing, but still it did'nt recognized and would 'nt appear as a comport.

omg, i'm sry, seems i had 2 bad usb cables. a 3th one seems to work. :frowning: my bad.

They are probably charge-only cables, not bad cables (except in case you want to transfer data).

The second cable must be indeed. :frowning:
First usb cable i regulary used seems broken.
