MKR1000 with Sparkfun level shifting SD breakout

Hi Everyone

Could anyone give me some help with getting the sparkfun level shifting SD breakout to work with my MKR1000. I have connected the pins as per the spark fun diagram and used the sparkfun script to no success. So i assume there is some built in difference with the MKR.

I have seen some things about the MKRZero using pin 28 for the SD as a default.
