I have a MKRWIFI1010 connected via ESLOV to a NICLA Sense and would like to upload sensor data to IoT. I am using the example sketch for IoT, but after connecting to WIFI I can see two temperature readings in the serial monitor, after that the board disconnects and does not get back. Connection to the IoT cloud does not happen either. If I run the sketch without IoT connection, everything works fine, IoT connection without Nicla works fine as well, jut together they do not work. Any idea? is it the board (as most Nicla sketches are based on H7)? Anyone got this Board-Nicla-IoT combo working?
I am seeing the same.
Hi @jlutzwpi did the disconnection problem start occurring only today, or have you had the problem whenever you tried using the MKR WiFi 1010 + Arduino Nicla Sense ME with Arduino IoT Cloud?
It never worked. I tried using the ESLOV cable that came with the Nicla sense, but it's about 40 cm and documentation says to use a cable less than 10 cm. I took @hditter's advice and soldered some headers on and using it as a shield and that worked for me.
That's not good. Well, at least you have found the problem. I asked because I saw a report that Arduino IoT Cloud was experiencing a partial outage at the time you posted, so thought you might have been affected by that, but it seems it was not the case.
