Hello all.
I recently purchased a MKR Wifi1010 shield. I cannot for the life of me get it to connect to the wifi network, WPA2. I used the example sketch code in the arduino IDE software. Just keep getting the "attempting to connect to WPA SSID: Network name" over and over. Its running the latest firmware. When I run the "Scan Networks" sketch it cant see any of the wifi networks which is super weird!
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Check and update the firmware for WiFiNINA and replicate Connecting MKR WiFi 1010 to a Wi-Fi Network
Thank you for your reply! I checked the firmware last night at its 1.5.0, the newest version available. The board core is installed. WifiNINIA library installed. I put in the correct password and ID into the secret tab. I followed the code exactly. The 1010 is connected to the usb-c port on my mac and its showing connected on the IDE.
Any other ideas on a cause?
Is the Chrg light supposed to be blinking on the MKRWifi1010?
If you replicated what I suggested, you should get output similar (see " Testing It Out") to the one shown in the guide indicating that your board is working well and connects to a wifi netweork.
I have the same issue. But I tried it with other wifi spots there it works e.g. on my iPhone hot spot. I think, the router will be the problem. My one have dual bands 2.5GHz and 5GHz. With the sniffing SW it sees the SSID but could not log in. The firmware was upgraded to the 1.5.0. but still doesn't work.
