Moderator question: OK to link projects on personal web sites?

Before I get myself in trouble, let me ask a question of the moderators here.

I've recently completed a candle simulation (probably one of a million) using an Arduino NANO which I'd like to share. But frankly, I'd rather publish it on my own website I run, where I publish information about both products and DIY projects I've authored. My own site allows me to more easily show photographs, allow people to zoom in on diagrams and construction details, and of course publish the source code with simple download links. Its just the way I normally share DIY projects.

But, even though I wouldn't offer any services or sell anything on a DIY project page, I've still gotten booted off at least one forum (a Facebook group actually) because the person running it felt I was doing something wrong (which was never clearly defined). I'm just trying to avoid such an issue.

So f I prepare a web page illustrating and documenting the project, would it violate any policy if I then shared it here a a link? I would make a post with one photo explaining it, with a link to the page on my website for further details. I could then use this forum to answer any questions, variations, or suggestions people had, either for me or each other.

Obviously this post can be moved or deleted after its answered, but THIS is the area where I'd ultimately post the link to the project.

Go for it. I do it all the time.

But your web link doesn’t work.

Scared me for a minute there! I KNOW I paid the hosting bill! LOL!

OK folks. I've finally got around to finishing that article I wanted to write on the Arduino Candle. I'll bo post a link to it in a new thread. That way I can add a link to that thread back on my website, where the article actually resides. Comments welcome.
