Can you get the LED to blink without the rf code?

There is nothing fundamentally wrong with your code. I like to test these ASK sketches without using the radios, but by connecting pin 12 to pin 11 on the two arduinos.

With a pot on A0 of the sender, I can get an led on pin 3 of the receiver to vary in brightness with your code as written when the arduinos are connected 12 to 11.

Go back to the basic TX /RX examples with RadioHead RH_ASK and verify that you can get the modules talking to each other. If you can, then verify the wiring and functioning of the led as Qdeathstar suggests.

How far away is your rx away from your tx? Please post a picture of your wiring

they are not far in fact I do not think the problem isn t the reception in fact transmitting the values and read them but does not modulate the intensity of the LED

Do you know "space"?

Better than you know punctuation.

Post your serial output...

How do you know the problem is not in the transmit and receive?

I have previously confirmed that the problem is not in your code.

Is the pot wired correctly to A0 and varies the value?

Provide a sketch of how the led is wired? Do you have the polarity correct? What size resistor is in the circuit? Does it light up but not vary, or stay unlit?

Can you simply turn an led on and off when connected to pin 3?

There's little point in continuing further until you have done and show us the results of what cattle dog has suggested, step by step..
