Mojave - CH34x USB drivers - installation

Hi,

I worked on "High Sierra". Everything worked correctly. Arduino IDE was uploading programs to adruino. After upgrade to Mojave Arduino IDE has stopped working. I started searching for how to solve this problem. I used a lot of different tips such as:

  1. Install driver from http://www.wch.cn/download/CH341SER_MAC_ZIP.html
  2. I tried many variantions like delete folders, install driver from brew, restart, recovery mode and other proposition from GitHub - adrianmihalko/ch340g-ch34g-ch34x-mac-os-x-driver: CH340G CH34G CH34X Mac OS X driver
  3. I installed Arduino IDE beta v 1.8.9.

Can someone have a different working solution?

Regards,
Krzysztof

Hi

After many hours of searching and installing various drivers and macOS reinstalled I found that an older version of Silicon Labs driver worked in my situation. Silicon Labs Version 4. I was trying the latest V5 but somebody on their forum suggested that the legacy version wovercoame the problem.
