More friendly variants of MKR1000

Please, sell MKR1000 boards with preassembled pin headers à la UNO (i.e common female headers) and/or à la Micro (male headers to put on a breadboard). If Arduino is intended to newbies, soldering is a high wall.
Thanks

You can do this. That should not be a high wall.

Get 3 or 4 of these for practice, put the pins and headers in and solder them, then throw them out:

Resistors are very inexpensive to practice with, you can get packs of many resistors on eBay for very little money, and practice with them on the middle section of a prototype board.

You should be proficient within a very short time and it will be very inexpensive.

Yes, I know.
But I'm not talking about me: I'm talking about my 10-14 years old students. I think they should be ready to do some cool projects without having to make these previous (and some times frustrating and/or dangerous for them) steps.
Thanks, anyway.

Hmmm. Well, I was soldering at 8 yrs old, but I know people nowadays are overly protective of kids. I also popped wheelies on my stingray bike and played outside with the neighborhood kids until dark.

I'm responsible of 30 children at the same time in a lab...it's not just a matter of overprotecting.
