More LED segments with only one line of code

Hello all, I have been looking on about five sites to find a tutorial how to connect two or more LED pins, as here is the code for only ONE LED segmet:

const int buttonPin = 2;     // the number of the pushbutton pin
const int ledPin =  13;      // the number of the LED pin

If someone could help me, I would be REALLY REALLY REALLY happy. Thanks!

Not sure what you are asking but is it:-

const int buttonPin = 2;     // the number of the pushbutton pin
const int ledPin =  13;      // the number of the LED pin

const int buttonPin2 = 3;     // the number of the pushbutton pin
const int ledPin2 =  12;      // the number of the LED pin

int is overkill there, use byte instead: const byte ledPin13 = 13; // all names must be unique of course const byte ledPin12 = 12; const byte ledPin11 = 11; const byte ledPin10 = 10;

etc. 2 thru 19 are available (on Uno) while leaving 0,1 free for serial comm's. Don't forget current limit resistors, 270 ohm to 1K ohm.

And internal pullup resistors for the buttons, in setup()

pinMode (ledPin13, OUTPUT);

pinMode (buttonPin2, INPUT_PULLUP); Wire button to connect to Gnd when pressed. Then: if (digitalRead(buttonPin2) == LOW){ // button is pressed, do something } else { // optionally, button is not pressed, do something else }
