Motion Tracking

Hi Guys,

I am very new to arduino and have a project I would like to get started with.

I am hoping to make a motion tracking device. I have seen someone achieve a motion tracker by using two HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensors on top of a servo/motor. I would like to make my device fully rotational so a servo limited to 180 degrees would not suffice, would it be possible to achieve this goal?

Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated, I look forward to hearing your ideas.

Cheers :)

So use a stepping motor.

Yes, a stepper motor would work. However, before you do this: make sure the wires don't get twisted. Just hoping that bit of advice will be useful to you, and also make that there is a secondary sensor so when the target goes out of range, it will relocate...
