Motor brushless and Arduino. Car automotion.

Hi everybody,

Please, excuse my poor English. And I hope this is not off-topic...

I'm a teacher, and I work in a Spanish High School. A group of students and me are interested in developing a RF radio control. Not a powerful one, just for learning how to control it under Arduino; how to program it.

I've been investigating and came up with several ideas. I think we need a RF Serial Transmitter - Receiver as this one: http://www.cooking-hacks.com/433mhz-rf-link-kit

Need a servomotor as well for steering the front wheels. We have some of them.

And I purchased an Arduino Mega + Motor Shield to control a pair of DC motors, but I'd like to use a brushless motor + variator. The problem is that I sail on the net, and I messed. Don't know what to choose. They are usually quite expensive on local retailers and cheaper on internet stores. What I need is something simple: we don't want to run & speed up. We'll actually build a simple wooden chassis where to assemble four wheels, the Arduino board, a battery and the brushless + variator . If it simply works, I'll get satisfied.

Any ideas? Thanks.
