Motor control for masking a projector?

Hello all,

I'll start by saying I'm new to arduino. I have a good background in Processing, but this is my first venture into arduino hardware.

I've got a cardboard mask that I want to control with some type of motor. I simply want to move this piece of cardboard around in front of the projector.

I know this is a sort of vague post, but where should I start. Is this something that Duemilanove would be able to handle? What else might I need?

Any guidance?

Thanks a bunch

Does the mask just have to rotate continously in one direction ?

Or do you need to move it up / down / left / right ?

How fast ?

I presume it is just to block out the light in which case a servo motor should do you good. Lots of tutorials on how to use them.
