Motor controller board and bluetooth module

Hi
I've got a Motor controller board running 1 micro servo but wanted to use a Bluetooth module to control the servo remotely via an app on my phone. How can I connect the Bluetooth module to the Arduino while I've got the motor shield in place?

Thanks a lot.

Michael.

The shield presumably brings through many of the Arduino pins. That means you could use SoftwareSerial on 2 spare pins of the shield as the Bluetooth serial interface

Please post a link to the shield that you are using

Hi,
What model Arduino are you using?
What motor shield? A link to spec/data will help.

What micro servo and why do you need a shield for it?

Can we please have a circuit diagram of your current project?
An image of a hand drawn schematic will be fine, include ALL power supplies, component names and pin labels.

Thanks.. Tom... :+1: :coffee: :australia:

Sorry about that but I'm new to the Forum and wasn't sure where to put the post. As it said 'Troubleshooting' and I had trouble getting the Bluetooth to work with the Motorshield I took this to be the right section. I'll know next time.

Thanks for putting me straight.

It also says the below (when you hover the mouse over the link)

Don't worry further about it

Entirely understandable, and simply a matter of poor design of the forum site which the "powers that be" have no interest in correcting. :sunglasses:
