Motor shield 3 pin receiver and servos help

Hi I’m new to arduino and I have a simple question
I have bought the mega ADK and the motor shield, I have a pair of servos that I want to connect to the shield, the shield has a 2 3 pin orange receiver and 2 white 3 pin receiver that the servo plug fits on perfectly. Can I control a servo from them? If so can anyone please post the code.. I’d be very grateful.

A motor shield is for motors. a servo shield is for servos. They are not the same.

If the servos are a fairly small size you can control one or two of them for testing directly from the arduino pins.

Check out the servo examples in the playground or in the IDE and most of them tell you where to connect everything to get a servo to sweep or whatever function the example is for.

Ah that kewl Goof , thats all I really needed to know I'll order a server shield as I need to control quite a few.

What shield do you have? You just said motor.. some shield allow multiple things depending on how you set them up.
