Motor Shield Question and Guidance... - Solved

Good evening,

I have a small issue I need some help. It is more of a lack of understanding issue. You see I started my project with just an ardunio uno and the ultrasonic sensor with some LED. Later came the Idea I would need a motor shield to finish the project. So i picked up seeeedstudios motor shield V1.2 for rather cheap to test it out. What I didn't realize was that the motor shield now takes up all the pins I would need to complete my project. I am wondering if there is a work around to be able to still use these pins? I know the motor shield has pins on the side of the board but i do not think that this is what they are meant to be used for. If they could be used for LED, sensors and a servo, does anyone knoe of a good place online (in the USA) that would have the female jumpers?

I would like to announce, in my second post here how foolish and stupid I feel. I have been stumped by this for 2 days now only to realize the solution to my problem was covered by a piece of plastic.... I think I win the idiot award of the month.... have a good night everyone.

Glad you sorted it out....

It's a good idea to add the word "SOLVED" to the title of the opening post when a fix is found.

How about adding a photo?- others may benefit from your experience. Maybe two photos.... before and after....
