Motor shield v2 library problems, accessing headers

If I use the example from the library, it verifies ok.

When I try to make my own simple application which is the same, but little simpler, and I get this problem:

tmp/702320567/sketch_jan13a/sketch_jan13a.ino:3:45: fatal error: utility/Adafruit_PWMServoDriver.h: No such file or directory

compilation terminated.

exit status 1

I even tried to manually add the library, but I get the same problem.

How should I access such headers in the shared libraries? Or should I add the library file to my project?

Best regards,

Mikko

Post a link to where you got the library from. Please use the chain links icon on the toolbar to make it clickable or if you installed it using Library Manger(Sketch > Include Library > Manage Libraries) then say so and state the full name of the library.

You could also post the SHARE link to your sketch so people can see if its a simple programming error.

Ah, I didn’t notice this was the Arduino Web Editor section. So that indicates the library is in the Library Manager, and sure enough here it is:

As you can see, the library does not have a utility subfolder so the solution is to correct your include statement:

#include <Adafruit_PWMServoDriver.h>

Thanks, that did it
