Hi, we are currently designing an automated syringe and looking for a motor to fill and empty it. Unforntunatley it´s pretty hard to draw up, so we´re not sure if our motor of choice is strong enough. We thought about a stepper motor (28BYJ-48 with a ULN2003A). As it´s our first project we´re happy for some help!

You need to know how to convert between linear force and torque for a particular drive mechanism (leadscrew perhaps?) - then you can simply compare required torque with motor torque.
