Today, 1 year after buing these arduino uno and 16channel reley. I decided to set them them up with for new project. This is my first arduino and I dont have much knowledge with programing and electronics but Im super exited. So if I make this project work, I`ll continue with other ideas for home automatization with arduino.
My first projects is:
I would like to use motorized roller blinds or Smart tint film on 3 of my windows. Smart tint is instantly switching windows from opaque to clear in less than a second. What I would like is to have a privacy when it`s dark outside and light inside (when the lights are on) Smartfilm- the windows should be opaque.
And when is light outside and independent if its light or dark inside, the windows should be transparent or the rollerblinds up. I would like to over write that rule with my android not only from my Wifi connection but also outside of the house. To have a wired "on and of" switch would be also great. I live in a really sunny plase so it should be powered by solar panel.
I realize after some googling that 16ch reley and arduino is far from enough for this project. Would be reaaaly happy to know which components I need to buy and how to wire them. And of course the programing.
