Greetings,
I was just wondering if you could run a DC motor on an Arduino Board Uno, with just the motor and the board, no transistors, no resistors, and no steppers or shields.
Thx, Matt. ![]()

no transistors, no resistors, and no
way.
You could control a continuous rotation ex-servo
Agreed. No motors. Servo ok , but no motors.

Have you never seen the experiment where two wires are poked into a lemon (or is it a potato?) and enough voltage and current is produced to turn a very small motor slowly? I'm sure one of those motors could be run from an Arduino, but you'd never get it to do anything useful. There wouldn't be enough power.

Why are you asking this question ? ( are you lazy or just cheap ?)
