Mount a furniture knob to a potentiometer

I have a furniture knob that I want to mount to one of my two different potentiometer.

The furniture knob has a hole in it where a screw is supposed to go and the potentiometers are to thick to get into that hole. Does anybody have an idea on how to mount the furniture knob to the potentiometers?

Can't you just drill the hole bigger in the knob? Just big enough to press fit the knob onto the pot.

Agree. The first link shows pots with split shafts made for a press fit knob, and the photo even shows such a knob. Match the hole in the knob with a drill bit and drill the furniture knob.
