sometimes my macbooks mouse+keyboard freeze when the arduino is connected. the only thing i can do then is press the power button for a couple of seconds to make the laptop shutdown.
anybody ever had this problem?
anyody knows what to do?

It could be that you have a short on the Arduino or it is in some way drawing more current than it should and so shutting down the USB. As this has the keyboard and mouse on it, it will appear that they have frozen.
Make sure you are plugging in the long thin plug rather than the short square end as sometimes this is more prone to connecting up wrong.
Unplug the arduino (and everything upstream from it, e.g. hubs) and give the computer a few minutes. Plug the keyboard/mouse into a different USB port on the computer, if they happen to be on the USB chain shared with the Arduino.
