I have more tabs than there is room to see all of them. On the new version of the IDE you use the scroll wheel to navigate to the hidden tabs that are off to the right. This doesn't work on the older IDE. (There are things about the new IDE that I don't like---that's why I'm using the old version)
So is there a way to do this? I've tried every possible key to no avail. Thanks.
Left hand top side underneath the magnifying glass is a down pointing arrow. Click that.
Ctrl Alt Right/Left
Didn't try that combo.
Thanks!
Yes, the CTRL+ALT+ right or left arrow does get you there.
But you have to watch the window's title bar to see which one you are on.
I agree about the newest version.
I installed that on my other computer, the one I don't really use so much for Arduino and I just hated it immediately.
If memory serves, I lost the links to the libs I have in specific places.
There was something else that I didn't like, but I do forget now. LOL
So, I'm sticking with 1.8.13 for now.
So yes, the mouse wheel does not work for scrolling tabs, but the keystroke combs do work.
Ah, one of the ones with the log4j security vulnerability ![]()
I like the challenge.
Besides, I don't use THIS computer for "those" sites. LOL

All joking aside, I realize that I did in fact revert to 1.8.18 instead of 1.8.19, which has the vul fixed.
I had updated to 2.0.2, but I hated it. I should have kept notes on specifically what I didn't like.
But, today, I'll update to 2.0.3 and see how that one goes.
If not, back to 1.8.19.
