MPU6050 - working frequency

Hello, I'm using MPU6050 in my quadcopter and there is a problem. It can maximally work on 100Hz (I know, 200Hz in fact but I have problem with it). BUT. I still read that for quadcopter 100Hz is minimum for good stabilisation. And in fact, my stabilisation is not such smooth. So pls, say me: evrywhere is using MPU6050 but OMG how they achieved 400Hz?? (for example smallest quadcopters need such frequency).
