Multi Bluetooth connection

Hello all. First off I am completely new to Arduino but I've been interested in it for awhile.
I'm wondering if it would be possible to create a device that can connect up to 4 or 5 seperate bluetooth speakers at one time and transmit to all those speakers at the same time? The idea is that the device itself would connect to a laptop or some other device possibly using the 3.5mm audio jack then be able to connect to up to 4 or 5 bluetooth speakers for stereo sound, maybe even programming the unit to separate the sound in to each channel.
I know it would need a separate bluetooth transmitter for each speaker but I am not sure if this would be possible as I have never seen any device with the ability to connect to more than one bluetooth speaker at a time.

Is this feasible with arduino?
If so are there any tutorials that may help me build something like this?

I don't understand what role you think an Arduino might have to play in your project.

And an Arduino is not nearly powerful enough to work with good quality sound.

Bluetooth is a 1 to 1 communication system. I believe BLE can connect 1 to many but I have not been able to find any explanation of how to do it. In any case BLE is NOT intended for the high volume, long duration data that is essential for audio - that remains the role of regular Bluetooth.

I was thinking of using an Arduino as the platform for 4 or more Bluetooth units....

As I said earlier an Arduino would not have the processing power for audio.
