Multiple analog inputs over data protocol

I'm looking for some information to start my project. I have 10 holes and every hole is connected with 2 IR-leds and 2 IR-phototransistors. If a beam between an IR-led and a IR-phototransistor is broken I would like to let my Arduino know it. I'm looking for a chip that can put the analog data on a network bus to my Arduino.

Best regards

I'm looking for a chip that can put the analog data on a network bus to my Arduino.

The Arduino can read analog input directly, up to the number of analog pins that it has. The Mega has 16 analog pins.

But I would like a chip that puts it to an i2c output, because I don't want to run 20 analog cables to my Arduino.

because I don’t want to run 20 analog cables to my Arduino.

Cables are neither digital or analog.

Why does it matter whether you run wires from 10 sensors to the Arduino or to another chip that is connected to the Arduino?

I need something like an i2c analog pin expender with at least 2 channels, I should also need to be able to put multiple of them in an i2c bus (different id).
