multiple analog inputs

i have a project in which i need to read 15 analog inputs.so for this can i use two analog multiplexer 4051 to read the analog inputs?

Yes, or one 4067 chip. Or add external i2c or SPI ADC chips.

See this project for an example of wiring them:- http://www.thebox.myzen.co.uk/Hardware/MIDI_Footsteps.html

one more thing can i connect a esp8266 with arduino and still use the mutiplexed A0 and A1 from arduino uno??

Yes

Grumpy_Mike:
Yes

can i get an example of how ?

can i get an example of how ?

No just do it. I don't see what the problem is.

If you have an esp8266, why do you need the Uno? The esp is far more powerful and can completely replace the Uno. You can still use the Arduino IDE and (almost) the same sketch. It is not easy with the ESP01 because it has so few pins, but it can be done. With other esp boards like nodeMCU or Wemos, it is much easier.
