Hi everyone, im building iron man, (yes the full real one) (no he wont fly)
Im looking at having one arduino board in the helmet and am hoping it can wirelessly talk to other boards say one in each of the arms and one in each of the legs and one in the torso. is this possible?
the ones in the arms will control several servos (at maximum 3 in each arm for now) and the ones in each of the legs will control 2 servos each. the torso one will control at maximum 5 servos, several sensors, the chest light (arc reactor)
The one in the helmet will serve as a primary, so it will issue the commands to the other boards (if it is possible) it will also have 2 servos to control and an lcd screen showing the commands and the battery percentages.

I don't know what an iron man is, but if it's made of ferrous metal (as its name implies) the wireless transmissions may get attenuated quite severely. What's wrong with wire connections?
Not at all. I don't think that craze has come to the UK yet. I'll have to ask my 8 YO granddaughter if she knows of it.
It looks like wearing that costume must make it very difficult to go to the toilet...unless there's a 'trap door'.
