Multiple Motor Shields?

I was wondering whether or not it is possible to have two motor shields on the same arduino while having a total of 4 motors for a quadcopter. Is this even possible to do with the shields on top of each other? If so, what possible code could be associated with it? Thank you

Sure - just need to make sure you don't have conflicts on control pins. Each motor typically needs enable, direction, and PWM for speed.

Thank you. This helped quite a bit. What would the code look like though?

Take a look at the code for motor shields from adafruit, sparkfun for a start.

Then, look at quadcopter sites for control examples. Need to add something that can sense levelness, speed, etc.and provide feedback to the motor controls.
