I am a big fan of arduinos, i have maybe 10 of them XD
I want to do a new project and this is what i want:
Device/module that can transmit to everyone and receive from everyone wirelessly. The receivers have to determine the transmiter devices that are closer from him. Like swarm robots but without proximity sensors, just with RF.
I am thinking of xbee but i think it will have very interference between them.

Forget it. Finding distance using just received signal strength is just about impossible. There are so many things that influence RSSI more than distance.

Why do you think so? Of course, having all the modules thinking that they can talk to everyone, anytime, isn't going to work.
You should perhaps research "swarm robots". Apparently, it can be done. But, I doubt that it involves communication only between the two closest together robots. Even if it does, it is NOT done with just signal strength as the measure of distance.
