My Arduino IDE is just a black screen!

When I load up my Arduino IDE, the screen is just black. I am on a chromebook using Linux. I followed this tutorial when installing: Arduino IDE on Chromebook - YouTube

Which version of the Arduino IDE are you using?

The latest version, I downloaded it last week or so. 1.8.16
