My ARDUINO is not detected anymore (Win 7/8)

Hello everyone,

I'm working on a very important project. I use and ARDUINO MEGA 2560. All was working fine until today. I connect it using USB as usual but now only the led ON is on (no signal TX or RX). No signal of life on my computer.

Any idea? Anyone who had a similar issue?

It would help me a lot?

Meanwhile, I'll keep looking for a solution...

Have you read Guide/Troubleshooting#toc16?

Using an USB ISP programmer, is it recognized by your PC? If not, something is wrong with your PC or USB port. Tried another port already?
Then upload the sketch using the programmer - does it work?
