So i just bought a Arduino Leonardo and connected it on my pc seems to work because it recognises it as "Arduino Leonardo" so when i tried Uploading but didnt seem to work i got an error

avrdude done. Thank you.

Failed uploading: uploading error: exit status 1

It seems to work perfectly fine with my Uno but not with Leonardo

Are you sure that you didn't confuse the port?
Your board is connected to the COM5?

Did you select the correct board in the tools menu? The Leonardo uses a different com-port for uploading then for normal use. The upload port should be detected automatically during upload. The Com port shown in the IDE for normal use is not existent during upload.
