My Arduino software is not installed properly

I hope I am posting this thread on the right section of the forum. So I downloaded Arduino 1.8.7 for Mac OS and installed the downloaded file but its missing features on the menu bar like file, tool, sketch, edit and help. However, I can write code and verify it. I uninstalled and reinstalled the software but there's no change. Anyone knows why? Btw, I am using MacOS Mojave Version:10.14.1

I think it should look like this:

Note the menus are not attached to the Arduino IDE window as you would find when using Windows or Linux.
