my arduino uno r3 does not run, I could fix it by myself, being nice to my Mac

hallo,

at first I have to apologise for my English.

I have bought my uno r3 via Internet, I have download 1.8.8 and I connected my arduino with my Mac 1.9., I unzipped the program as recommended, the program starts as expected but then I got the message the program has finished unexpected try again.
I put all stuff from my computer and restarted it again also I started the whole procedure from the beginning, but the same problem popped up.
Can anybody help my?

Which version of macOS are you using?

I am having the same issue. Mac Mojave 10.14.2 - The UNO board powers on and has the blinking light (Not the power light) but I am not able to select USB port, only bluetooth ports are available for selection.
