Is there a file named "avrdude.exe" in this directory...

C:\Users\William Flint\Desktop\arduino-0018\arduino-0018\hardware/tools/avr/bin/

If not, try reinstalling the Arduino IDE.

I have the avr-dude, its in the right place, i dont know what else to try, thanks anyway. :-/

I vaguely recall a problem with installing the Arduino IDE to a directory that includes spaces. I can't remember if running AVRDUDE is one of the symptoms. Try searching the forum for "space path" or try installing the Arduino IDE to a location that does not include any spaces.
