I think there was never any clear response to the results of my suggestion to replace the KEY_LEFT_ALT with a printable character. So reply #6 never got an answer...
Then we waited until post #21 to find out that the hardware was proven working by other software. No attempt to communicate that fact in the face of hardware directed questions.
Perhaps more efficient communication would have allowed the topic to dwell on what the PC software is doing...
