My ESP32 connects to the Hive MQTT broker, but when I try to establish a connection on the websocket client website, I lose connection

My code successfully connects an ESP32 to a Hive MQTT broker. The only problem is that when I try to connect on the Hive websocket client website, I lose connection and my code trys to establish a new connection. This occurs because it sets "client.connected()" back to false which runs the reconnect() function again. I do not know why it is doing this. To run my code and see what I mean you may have to create a cluster on the Hive MQTT website and add the details for the cloud and wifi details to the code. Any help would be much appreciated.
