My house alarm circuit problem ! Someone please read this and help

Hello there people,

I am in need of assistance with an house alarm circuit i'm trying to make the components are an rechargeable battery for power two red l.e.d's to flash when the alarm goes off and an sounder to sound an alarm when an alarm goes off also a p.i.r sensor to sense intrusion. I want to be able to use arduino and connect a finger print scanner. With the finger print scanner i want to arm the device with that specific fingerprint which it has in memory and then allow a 30 second time delay to allow the user to exit the premises in which the p.i.r sensor detects movement. When the p.i.r sensor detects movement the alarm should go off starting off with a moderate volume along with the l.e.d's flashing for the user to disarm the device within 30 seconds. If the user doesn't disarm the alarm will then start producing high volumes along with the red l.e.d's on the project box flashing and will alert others.

I seriously don't know how to make a circuit with all these components and how to connect them via pins and stuff on the circuit, if someone could tell me the steps and all the components i should use to make my alarm system work as stated above would be very much appreciated! Plz help i really want to make this!

The way to approach a project like your is to break it into small parts. Get an Arduino and learn to upload example sketches. Get a LED and learn to blink it. I interface a button switch. Each bit that you do will give knowledge to do the next bit. Look at the examples included with the IDE.
