My sketches missing top of sketch

My headers are missing "File Edit sketch tools" are missing.

Be sure to identify the IDE version you are using (top bar of IDE window) and operating system version.

Did you try pressing F11?

Hi @richard2336. I know from your previous post that you were using Arduino Cloud Editor.

The "File Edit sketch tools" you mention are only present when using the Arduino IDE desktop application.

So if you are still using Cloud Editor then this is normal and expected.

Arduino Cloud has equivalents to some of the capabilities that are available through those menus in Arduino IDE, but via different user interfaces. If you are looking for something in particular in Arduino Cloud, we can tell you whether it is available and provide instructions for finding it.

If you have switched to using Arduino IDE, then it is not expected. If so, we will need to know which version of Arduino IDE you are using in order to proceed, as was already requested by @xfpd.

"File, Edit, Sketch, Tools, Help. All missing from my sketch. Can't do anything. Can't go to library. What am I missing?

I have merged your cross-posts @richard2336.

Cross-posting is against the Arduino forum rules. The reason is that duplicate posts can waste the time of the people trying to help. Someone might spend a lot of time investigating and writing a detailed answer on one topic, without knowing that someone else already did the same in the other topic.

Repeated cross-posting can result in a suspension from the forum.

In the future, please only create one topic for each distinct subject matter. This is basic forum etiquette, as explained in the "How to get the best out of this forum" guide. It contains a lot of other useful information. Please read it.

The forum helpers are here on the first topic you created, waiting for you to provide enough information to allow us to help you. So don't you think it would be more productive to respond on your first topic instead of creating yet another topic which is just as deficient in details as the first one???

You also chose an inappropriate forum category for your cross-post.

In the future, please take some time to pick the category that best suits the subject of your topic. There is an "About the _____ category" topic at the top of each category that explains its purpose.

This is an important part of responsible forum usage, as explained in the "How to get the best out of this forum" guide. The guide contains a lot of other useful information. Please read it.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

He's on a MAC.

Restart the computer?

I am complaining that the program did not download properly. Maybe Those instructions are missing too. Maybe stop telling me I am breaking rules and help me solve the problem!
How dare you punish me for looking for answers!

Stop breaking rules and no one will tell you to stop breaking rules.

Ask your questions. You will get answers.
