The myoware shield when connected disconnects the arduino uno from being visible or seen as connected. Although it is still connected. When I have the myoware shield on the uno and connect them together they are undetectable. Why is the myoware shield blocking the connection and how do I fix it?

I don't know what You're talking about. Show a logic block diagram explaining the setup, post links to datasheets of the stuff You use.
The myoware shield is attached to the arduino uno. they are both then attached to the pc. The pc does not recognize them as a device.
The arduino uno is recognized as a device when it is by itself so it is an issue with the shield being seen as a second device or blocking the uno from being recognized.
