Nano 33 BLE: Rust lang support

Hello there,

I would like to build a simple blink example for Nano 33 BLE in Rust.
I can across this project: ArduinoCore-samd/variants/nano_33_iot at master · arduino/ArduinoCore-samd · GitHub but it is not clear to me whether I can use this project, which is built for IOT, to build for BLE. I would like to ask if anyone here had a chance to do something similar, and whether it is possible at all with current state of that project. I would be glad to add support for BLE in the ArduinoCore-samd project, but I am rather new to Arduino, so I would appreciate some help and mentoring with this board.
