Nano and Windows 8.1 Compatible or not?

I am looking into a project that uses the nano, but the website for purchasing the nano says that nano is not compatible with windows 8 or 8.

Is this true?

I have a cheap Nano clone working fine on Windows 8.1.

Why not just try it?

PS - Maybe edit your post with the link to the Nano you're buying.
